The purpose of our club is to represent a positive image of leather. We intend to heighten the leather and gay community's awareness that the leathermen and women of ICON Detroit represent togetherness and brotherhood with a deep commitment to support our brothers and sisters with AIDS. The sword in our logo is a visual pledge to fight the spread of AIDS.
ICON Detroit turned 6 years old in February 1999. We currently have 15 members, all working hard to uphold our mission statement. Below is the most recent group picture of all the ICONs as we celebrated our sixth anniversary !!
