Recently the question came up in the kc.rail newsgroup of where mile post 0 is on the KCS (See Map 8). I knew from my tenure on the KCS, I did have the information, but could not remember where I had it. Well, I found it today. I was once given a KCS System SLIC Maps manual. Can't remember what SLIC stands for, but it basically shows all tracks, including industrial sidings on the KCS system.

These maps are dated in March of 1983. I have posted all the maps including the KC area thru Drexel, MO. Most pages show 4 maps. If the file is SLIC-17-20.html, it means it shows maps 17 thru 20. Map SLIC-GV-DR.html shows Grandview, MO to Drexel, MO.

Click on the link to get the full map. Most of the maps are in the 200 to 260K byte range.
