Here's the 4-1-1 on little 'ol me:
Age: 37
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 145 lbs.
Dress size: 12
Shoe size: 9
Home town: Los Angeles, CA USA
I consider myself to be a cross-dresser, if a label must be applied. This means I live full-time as a man and only dress up occasionally, something I've been doing since I was about 10.
I make a living as a professional person and keep my CDing separate from my corporate life. However, I have shared my femme side with my closest friends and all have been supportive, at least after the initial shock has worn off!
I am single and adore women. As complicated as relationships are, CDing makes them even more so. But as soon as I think it's relevant for a love interest to know (such as when things start to move out of the casual stage) then I try to be as honest as I can. I strongly feel this is the only way to have happy and open relationships. I also believe that someone else's attitude towards something as unusual as cross-dressing is directly tied to your own... In other words, if you feel good about yourself and what you do, others will as well -- particularly if they truly care about you!
I am fortunate to live in LA, where there is a large "community" and several places to go while dressed. When I first started going out on my own about five years ago, I went to a local club (the world-famous Queen Mary) and met other CDers. From there, I became much more honest with myself and others about what is undeniably an inseparable part of my personality. I have been much happier as a result.
Now, I go most any place as Jennifer, even during the day. I do have a low voice so I prefer to go with a female friend when I can. That way they can do the talking, ordering, etc.
So, how did a successful, clean-cut, all-American guy like me get into something like cross-dressing? There is no easy explanation and I have to admit to not completely understanding this whole thing myself... But if you are interested in finding out more about me, my experiences and relationships, please drop a note!
Thanks again for stopping in and I wish all of you the very best fortune, whether you are part of the TG community or happen to care about someone who is!!!
