WelcomeWelcome over the Rainbow, I am glad you have come to visit. This site is an expression of creativity, learning and love. Here, rather than attempt to define gender to apply to everyone, I share my thoughts as I have come to apply them to me. However, I do have links which will take you to sites that attempt to address those issues/ideas. I do embrace a philosophy that gender just is, for each person. Gender is that feeling/sense one feels inside. It really cannot be defined, measured, observed down to a bipolar system. What that has given me is a way to actually see everyone, no matter what their circumstance or position in life, from a very human, personal and embracing point of view. Where do you start? If this is your first visit, you can get a little background on how this site came to be in my Biography. You can read about my latest thoughts, emotions, adventures in my newest Journal entry and work back in time. For the visually inclined, there is my Photograph Album. And, before you leave, I hope that you will visit my Web Resources pages and view my Friends area. There you will find an ever growing list of wonderful, supportive people from all walks, denominations, backgrounds, orientations and genders. I do not know where I would be without them, and who knows, maybe one of them will be just the person to make a difference in your life or journey. If you are a returning visitor, you can always check my What's New (The RainbowGyrl Digest) page. So, enjoy and thank you for being a part of my journey of Becoming Real, on this side of the Rainbow, where dreams do come true. My Life is an Open BookHaving and maintaining a web site about one's journey through life pretty much makes it an open book. As I have added and updated this site, I think my life appears more like a library of books. So, here I share a few of the volumes which tell you a bit about me, my thoughts, feelings, opinions and my trials & tribulations on this road called, gender. I hope your visit leaves you with more than when you arrived and that you'll drop me a line or sign my guest book to let me know what you thought. (You can never have enough friends.) |
