With a need to develop more skills, I have given my site a fresh look. In addition to the new graphics and cleaner layout, the navigation has been improved with easier page references, "Where you are at" indicators and a large programmed database to control content display.
But, alas, since you are reading this page, only some of the new features will be noticeable. Not to fear, what you are seeing is a pretty close match, visually, to my Frame/JavaScript pages. The page layout is as you see it, but the content list does not stay while the rest of the page scrolls. Some or all of the image changing is not available.
If you think you would like to try your browser with my new design, you can click here.
What you are seeing is very new. This is the first time since I created the original Frames layout that a plain HTML version has been available. So, these pages were set up just for you. Aren't I nice?
Behind the Glitz - Content After All
Behind the new look there is some updated and/or new pages.
- Site Changes Overview
- From this version's point of view, the big change is a set of non-frames pages. While this means more work for me to administer, this should allow almost anyone to visit my site. The general design is the same for both versions - a Site Contents list on the left and the Main Page Display on the right. While there is not the dynamic loading and other fun and neat features here, all content is the same.
- To access my really neat pages, you will need at least Netscape4.0, or MS Internet Explorer4.0 or some browser that supports a Frames layout and JavaScript. (I have set those pages to allow NS3 or IE3 to also access them, though I am not fully sure of what may or may not work - give it a try and let me know)
- The no-frames version does not have a page of Web Resources (links), yet. I am still thinking about what the best way to convert them is. (I have 200+ links currently listed, each one may be in more than one of the 47 resource categories). If you absolutely cannot access my other pages, send me an email with the type of information you are looking for and I will do a look up and send you a reply email.
