I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

     

The first thing I did today was to go out and find Wynn at Downhome Stoves to see about fitting the new Raeburn. We made a provisional date depending on speaking to Ceredigion County Cookers and then I went to the organics shop and stocked up on fruit and vegetables.

Back home I spoke to Ceredigion County Cookers and found that they needed another couple of days so it seems like March 24th is the earliest it can be done. Another book had arrived in the post and I started reading and got highly sucked into it. Eventually I pulled myself away from it and went down to Pumpsaint to get a few more fenceposts because there's quite a few out there that need replaced since the bottoms of them have rotted out. I went over the top of the world and through the ford, Spring is on its way.

I started reading some more when I got home and would probably have been there all evening but Loey arrived. We talked for a while and then I got hungry and cooked us up a big plate of vegetables and a salad I'd made at lunchtime. Loey left after a while and then I went out to Llandewi Brefi to Helen's house where Irene was and found them, along with Lucy having a rather morose evening, still, it was more entertaining than watching the tv all night.
