Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

Well it wasn't all that bright and early this morning, but there wasn't a lot of point what with the nasty day going on outside. It was blowing a gale and lashing rain when I got out of bed but by the time I'd made a cup of tea the sun with beaming down out of a dark sky. Then it started to hail. I managed to get the horses fed in a lull while the sun was out again but it started up again before I'd even finished. This went on for a while. Very odd weather.
When the morning chores were over I phoned Heather back and got a few little tasks for the day which I did straight away because I wanted to just stay up to date with WIT work at the moment. Then the sun had come out long enough to take the rubbish down to the road and break up a crate for kindling. By then Lorna was finished with her morning chores too and made a glass of juice as we started to work on the bathroom floor. Well, I say work, it was more like play really. We stuck little holographic shapes all over the floor before we varnished it (first coat of varnish, that is). Then I had to go into town just to post the letters I was supposed to post yesterday and forgot but since I was going anyway I found several other things to do but I forgot to do most of them so I'm going to have to go back there again tomorrow. I think the smell of the varnish is affecting my brains. Once I was back from there the sun had really come out and although there was a big wind going on it was nice enough to take the dogs out a walk and collect some wood at the same time.
Soon it was time to make another salad, I'm getting so into the salad. Clare arrived as we were sat down to eat in front of the telly and stayed to eat and watch Great Expectations and then to talk some.
