Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

The ground was even thicker in snow this morning, I had quite a job pushing the wheelbarrow up to the field through it, but I think the horses were glad I made it. As soon as that was done and I'd lit a fire I opened up the file I'd been working on last night and finished up a page of notes and e-mailed it to Tim. Then I could leave that alone for a while and went out with Lorna and her chain saw to process the wood that we'd got in on Tuesday. We had to brush the snow off the saw bench and it was starting to rain slush on us but we needed the wood. Once it was sawn up and thrown into the barn I got the axe out to chop some of it up and got so into doing it that I managed to work my way through the lot of it. I was just finishing that up when Clare arrived so we sat down with a cup of tea and talked a bit more about an idea that Clare is having at the moment.
I got on with some other outstanding work then, stuff for WIT, and then printed some documents for Hanna and found a floppy disk to put an ad onto so that she can send it off to Diva. and then phoned her so that she could come and collect it all. It was the middle of the afternoon by then and I'd forgotten to eat anything so I made some lunch and was just finishing that when Hanna arrived. She wasn't long gone when Tim phoned and gave me instructions for work I could be getting on with. Quite a lot of work actually, so I just got on with it straight away. I didn't stop till about 10.00pm and that was just to eat. In the meantime I'd received a draft copy of the Disability Policy for WIT by fax and I needed to pay some attention to that before I went to bed so it was about 2.00 am by the time I turned off the computer again.
