Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

The snow has practically all gone, just lots of slush and wetness now. I had to take me car in to Glenn to have a new set of tyres and brake pads and Lorna had said she'd take me down there so while I was waiting for her to be up and about I did some more work and then we went down to Cellan and dropped my car off. After that we made a quick trip into town to the organics and the health food shop and came home for a bit of lunch. After that we sat down with the gardening books and did a bit of rescheduling of the planting plan because it's all a bit behind now, which is just as well considering that it has been snowing. Then we went out and did some more root and stone lifting in the pig pen, another week or two and they will have cleared that out. It started to hail big hard hailstones after a while so we went into the greenhouse and repotted some of the herbs which were getting too big for the seed trays. Then back in to finish the planning over a cup of coffee (first coffee I've had in weeks).
It was 6.00 pm by then and I really needed to get on with some work for a while so I did that while Lorna continued organising the garden plan until it was time to make salad. There was a couple of good things on tv which we watched while eating and then I thought I'd better get on with some more work if it was ever going to get done. A brisk walk with Lorna and the dogs helped me clear my head a bit and then it was another 2.00 am finish, but I feel like I'm on top of it now.
