I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

     

It's nice to have a stay at home Sunday, I hate going out on Sundays. In between the rain I sawed up some more wood and later we all went up to the top of the field and brought down some nice seasoned wood, wet on the outside but very dry and not at all rotten and slimey on the inside.
I was a bit filthy after all that and had one of those long luxurious late afternoon/ early evening baths before dinner. We had a big dinner, it being Sunday and everything and sprawled for a while in front of the wood fire and played cards. Later on the tv got switched on and, well, that was all that happened after that.
