I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

     

I had a phone call from Tim in the morning to say that his clever trickery had not worked which is not that surprising. The file has been created by using the Save As HTML feature in Microsoft Word and it's pretty much mangled. I don't recommend ever using this unless you really don't give a shit what it looks like or have got time to rectify it by hand.

Anyway, what that meant for me was not having any work to do till at least Wednesday (longer I bet) and that today could be my Sunday because I didn't have a proper one yesterday. So I spent a bit of time doing nothing and hanging out with other people and getting dinner cooked and really enjoyed it. I did play with the CSS style sheet some more, mainly because I'm just getting into learning all the things it can do. In fact it's quite compelling, I've read the whole of the specifications now, twice. I'm reading this stuff in bed, what's the matter with me? - That was a rhetorical question.
