I started doing this diary in June, it's quite new. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick
low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.
Still in a bit of a morbid mood today. Can't think of a lot to say so, in the meantime, here's some entries from the Thesaurus
morbid 1. brooding, funereal, ghoulish, gloomy, grim, melancholy, pessimistic, sick, sombre, unhealthy, unwholesome,
2. dreadful, ghastly, grisly, gruesome, hideous, horrid, macabre
3. ailing, deadly, diseased, infected, malignant, pathological, sick, sickly, unhealthy, unsound
Antonyms bright, cheerful, happy, healthy, salubrious, wholesome. (I wish).
depression 1. dejection, despair, despondency, dolefulness, downheartedness, dumps (Inf), gloominess, hopelesness, low spirits, melancholia, melancholy, sadness, the blues, the hump (Brit. inf.) 2. Commerce dullness, economic decline, hard or bad times, inactivity, lowness, recession, slump, stagnation 3. bowl, cavity, concavity, dent, dimple, dip, excavation, hollow, impression, indentation, pit, sag, sink, valley
Ok, that's enough self-indulgence. Aren't depressed people boring? I promise I'll take the dreary music out tomorrow.
Somewhat later in the day......I'm not actually all that depressed, I'm just allowing myself to wallow in it, so that I can get it over and done with. I'll probably be normal (well, relatively) by tomorrow.
