Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

I had to do an alarm clock wakeup this morning but I did well, only one press on the snooze button and I was up and dressed and the horses were fed and I was out of there by 9.00 am. I got to Aberystwyth where it was raining and cold and miserable and stood in a doorway outside the Wedi Cinion office waiting for Heather and Roxane to show up which they did right about 10.00 am. We went up to the office where Petra was already waiting and met Lois who had phoned me up. We had to go to a different place to do the actual filming so I went back to the car park and got my car to fetch everyone else and take them up there. I'd forgotten that I hadn't seen to the car since I last went on a hay run so when I put the seats up they were all covered in hay but no-one seemed too bothered. The filming was happening (I don't quite know why) in Aberystwyth Boat Club which was already full of cameras and crew by the time we got there. We met the presenter of the programme and talked to her about what questions she would be asking and worked out what bits Roxane could do in Welsh. Then we all got miked up and sat around a table on bar stools and did the interview then Heather and Petra did a tune and Roxane sang a song. They didn't know when it is actually going to be shown but we should get a tape, and maybe we get paid as well.
Well, that deserved a good lunch and we decided to go to the Treehouse, luckily Roxane knew that it had recently moved premises otherwise I would have been severely confused. After a big salad lunch I took them all back to their respective cars, left my car in the car park with the ticket I had from the morning and went around Aber in search of a hands free telephone headset. I didn't find one. I really want one too. I had a look at juice extractors as well, but I must have not been in real shopping mode because I hardly came home with anything at all. When I got back I tried a few phone calls to see if I could find one of these headsets and didn't get much further, BT are supposed to be phoning me back. There was no word from Tim so I had a pretty free evening apart from maybe cooking dinner. Irene arrived home from being away for two weeks and was all happy to be home which made everybody else feel nice as well. I spent quite a while online looking some more for the headset but I can't find a UK company that sells them. Ack.
