I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick
low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.
Today was our gardening day. The first thing I had to do was pick up the silage wrap which I'd arranged about yesterday. No-one was in when I got there but I knew where it was and there was another bagfull by then. We had a lot more clearing and covering to do and this area had several big bramble clumps to be dug out. When we got to putting the silage wrap down it turned out rather disappointing, I'd seen something Lisa had which she said was silage wrap but this was much more cacked up and much thinner plastic than what she had. Even eight of them hardly covered anything but hat was all we had, having used up all the bits of carpet and corrugated and boards that we could find last week. After that we spent a bit of time loading and mixing up the compost heap and that was enough for me, my arm was playing its own games by then. |
I worked on the Swansea Women's Centre Lesbian Newsletter then until it was dinner time and nearly got it finished. We watched a video after dinner and it was late by then but once everyone had gone to bed I got the Newsletter finished. |
