Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

Clare arrived to have a bath just after I'd got up and so she fed the horses after her bath which let me out of it. I fastidiously had the WIT minutes printing out then and got them all into envelopes ready to be posted. Even if I hadn't stopped at the Organics on the way I would have missed the Post Office by half an hour, just got the wrong idea there. I did all the usual Saturday in town stuff and also went to have a look at a second hand raeburn to replace the ailing one at the other end of the house. It didn't look all that much better than ours, worse in some ways. Seems they stopped making these kind in the seventies, so it's getting harder to find one that's still working.
Back home I got round to printing out the finished (I hope) version of the newsletter which always takes ages because of having way too many fonts on the page and lots of pages. After that I got a stool and a torch and, with Lorna's help, climbed up into the attic to investigate a mysterious leak which had been running down the bathroom light switch cord. It turned out to be an overflowing feeder tank which was dripping into a tray which was then running out and had to be emptied and it was all a bit horrible really.
There had been talk of dinner for 11 but it turned out to be only three of us. So then not much else, I'm feeling all irritated and pre-menstrual anyway, so I think I've written enough.
