Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

I went to bed far too late last night and woke up about 10.30 am and it was so quiet I wondered if everybody had gone already. The rest of the household was supposed to be setting of on a complicated child dropping off/collecting journey involving Bristol and Bourenmouth at 10.00 am. The silence turned out to be because they hadn't even woken up and they eventually left just before 2.00 pm, leaving me with the ludicrous half grown dog and the kitten.
I felt hungry for the first time in days and went into town to buy anything that looked choice in the Pioneer. Ok, so there wasn't all that much but I came back with some food and actually cooked something and ate it. I'd happened to look at the Cambrian News (the local paper) while I was in Pioneer and splashed across the front page was another article about the Cellar Bar banning WIT because, in his own words, "I've nothing against women, but these are a load of dykes. I didn't want that going on at the Cellar Bar. We've got our reputation to consider,". It made the front page just before Christmas and now it seems the West Wales Lesbian and Gay group has got hold of the story and are threatening to stage a protest. It would actually be very unsafe to do that and I don't know where they got hold of the story, it's all very intriguing so I had to phone Heather to see if she knew about it. After that I remembered that I had to do the minutes and agenda for the WIT meeting next Sunday and just doing the minutes took ages, I never did get the agendas done.
Clare arrived just as I was on the point of taking Tigger for a walk so she came out with me. It was so nice out last night that I was very disappointed to find it very dark, very wet and windy and cold. Walking through the tree tunnels you couldn't even see the road. We came back and dried the dog off and I decided to leave him in the raeburn room rather than shut him away in the conservatory because it seems unfair that he should have to be shut up all the time, at least in there he has the kitten to play with. We did some work on Clare's video cover and then I cooked up some food while she had a bath. We were going to finish working on it after eating but we'd had a glass of wine each by then and it didn't happen. Instead I brought down the television from upstairs and watched Alien 3. I've definitely decided that I'm going to get a television. Might even be a good idea to go to Aberystwyth tomorrow and get one, maybe hit the sales. In the meantime Tigger had trashed the compost bin, all over the kitchen and all over the raeburn room, squishy half rotten avocado and potato peelings and slimey lettuce and all manner of incomprehensible thing everywhere. I was quite annoyed and it was very disgusting having to clean it up.
