I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

    

Yesterday didn't turn out to be such a good day although it started out in a reasonable enough way. I must have exhausted myself with all the freaking out and went to sleep for 14 hours. So it was kind of late by the time I got up. I then realised I had quite a bit of work to do for WIT before the meeting this evening including captioning photos and writing an article for Diva Magazine. I was still in my pajamas at 6.30pm but at least I had finished everything.

Luckily Lorna was coming to the meeting as well so we set off via Llanybydder to drop off Lauren with Lisa and got to Heather's house just as food was being eaten. This was especially lucky as I had totally forgotten to eat anything and was by then in that state of hunger induced stupidity which prevents you from even realising that you need to eat something. The meeting was not as bad as I had feared... I mean, all meetings are boring and tedious but at least there was no bad humour or ill-feeling here. And a fair bit got sorted out. I've taken on the role of secretary on the committee which is the last job I did when I was in the Housing co-op in London and which I am at least familiar with. The meeting finished about 11.30pm and by the time I had explained the fax machine to Heather and handed over various other items of paperwork we didn't leave until nearly midnight. The moon is nearly full and when we left the house it was poking through the cloud surrounded by a rainbow halo.
