Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.


I had to force myself out of bed at 11.00 am this morning. I had to get up that early because I knew I needed that much time to get everything done before going out to meet Heather. Actually getting everything done just involved making the fire again, drinking sufficient coffee, feeding the horses and getting a bag of laundry together. I was meant to meet Heather at the pub which is going to be the new venue for WIT events and have lunch but when I got there it was completely shut and no sign of anyone around. Of course I was early and so I took a bit of a walk while I waited for Heather then we went to the pub round the corner for lunch instead. After that we went back into town and saw the bank manager about changing the account and by then my laundry was ready.
Back home I did a bit of spring cleaning on the computer and deleted nearly a gigabyte of old e-mail and suchlike nonsense and then did a bit of work on Clare's video cover before she got here. I heard a car pull up and wondered if Clare was early but instead it was total surprise Collette and Jayne from Liverpool. Well, in theory, not a total surprise because Collette said she was coming sometime soon but she says that a lot. I love it when people just appear like that, especially when its people I'm really happy to see. Clare did arrive not long after and after a bit we got in the kitchen and cooked up a couple of big dishes of sheepherdless pie and got it in the oven while waiting for Lorna and Irene to arrive home. They were all surprised and happy to see the new arrivals as well.
We eventually got around to eating dinner and then I worked on the video cover with Clare for a while. She gave my shoulders a nice massage while we were waiting for the print to come out. After she left I joined the others for a while to listen to the stories but now it's gotten way late and I just want to be in bed.
