The road to the spirituality to which I know practice has been a long one, with much pain yet just as much joy, wonder and growth. I was born into a Roman Catholic household from the time I was small I knew that I was to be a priest. All of my family knew this would happen there were no questions about it. The pathway worked well my preteen years. I was an active altar boy from the time I was allowed to participate. I loved to serve at mass and be in the church. Then there was a falling out between me and a priest there at the church. At that time I was not aware enough to realize that this was just one mans opinion and not God’s. This kept me separate from the Church for many years. During this period of absence I studied other concepts of religions. By the time I left the army I realized that I needed to make peace with my catholic upbringing and calling to the priesthood. So I re-entered the church. It was a great challenge to complete that goal. I was ordained, and became a professed member of the Congregation of the Creator. After that my work brought me back into the realm Wicca. I had not left those aspects of Shamanism, Divination etc… behind. I just had to be very discreet in my practices.
