Here's the 4-1-1 on little 'ol me:
Age: 41 Height: 5'8" Weight: 140 lbs. Dress size: 10 Shoe size: 9 Home town: Malibu, CA USA
I consider myself to be a crossdresser, if a label must be applied. This means I live full-time as a man and only dress up occasionally, something I've been doing since I was about 10.
I make a living as a professional person and keep my CDing separate from my corporate life. However, I have shared my femme side with my closest friends and all have been supportive, at least after the initial shock has worn off!
I am single and adore women. As complicated as relationships are, CDing makes them even more so. But as soon as I think it's relevant for a love interest to know (such as when things start to move out of the casual stage) then I try to be as honest as I can. I strongly feel this is the only way to have happy and open relationships. I also believe that someone else's attitude towards something as unusual as crossdressing is directly tied to your own... In other words, if you feel good about yourself and what you do, others will as well -- particularly if they truly care about you!
I am fortunate to live in the LA area, where there is a large "community" and several places to go while dressed. When I first started going out on my own about five years ago, I went to a local club (the world-famous Queen Mary) and met other CDers. From there, I became much more honest with myself and others about what is undeniably an inseparable part of my personality. I have been much happier as a result.
Now, I go most any place as Jennifer, even during the day. I do have a low voice so I prefer to go with a female friend when I can. That way they can do the talking, ordering, etc.
So, how did a successful, clean-cut, all-American guy like me get into something like crossdressing? There is no easy explanation and I have to admit to not completely understanding this whole thing myself... But if you are interested in finding out more about me, my experiences and relationships, please drop a note!
Thanks again for stopping in and I wish all of you the very best fortune, whether you are part of the TG community or happen to care about someone who is!!!
