"This Homosexual's Lifestyle"

When I think of the phrase "Homosexual Lifestyle," I laugh. When I think about my lifestyle, the fact that I'm gay isn't that high on the list. The first thing I think of is my transportation situation. Monday-Saturday during the daytime, I generally take the bus where I need to go, otherwise I walk or ride my bike. One of the places I go when I am OUT and about is the bookstore. I love to buy more books, This is part of my life style, Another place I might go on the bus (route#3) is the health food store. Being a vegetarian is a big part of my lifestyle. I am an unemployed college student majoring in marketing. I love music and I play it LOUD when I'm home alone. I live with my mother. The way I dress is a part of my lifestyle. A typical Spring days outfit might include: boots, jeans cuffed at the bottom, wallet w/chain, keychains dangling & jingling from my beltloop containing utility tool(you never know when you will need a knife, screwdriver, or pliers)/emergency money/tiny pens/tiny paper/pepper spray/and decorative key chains (and a couple keys, of course), T-shirt, flannel, walkman, hat, backback filled with my life with lovely buttons on the back (Dyke Power). My value system is a big part of my life style. I am for the rights of women, lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, animals, youth, disabled, immigrants, non-christians, and all minorities. I value diversity. I am against racism, the death penalty, war, and heavy national defense spending. I believe everyone can make a difference and if we all did what we could, we could really rock this world. The work I do for the community is part of my life style. I am a voter and I vote in virtually every election down to school board. I love tools especially power tools. I am a slob, although my room is starting to get organized, I have a dual personality (a true gemini); I'm shy yet outgoing. I am extremely open about my sexual orientation. I am single. I am Pagan. Did I mention that I am a lesbian?

Lesbianism 101:Lesbians & Men

Over the last year I have become aware that men need to become better educated about lesbianism. There are two aspects of lesbianism. The first seems to be very easy to grasp; Lesbians like to fuck other women. The second part seems to be very difficult to grasp; Lesbians don't fuck men. Men I have met over this last year seem to find the first part attractive, yet they either don't know or easily forget the second part. So this serves as a notice/reminder for them and others.

Other comments I would like to make to those men and others:

No, I don't fuck gay men
No, I don't masturbate with gay men.
"How can you be a lesbian if you have never had sex with a woman?"is a ridiculous question.
How can you tell me that I look Junior High age and then two sentences later ask me for a threesome?
I am not Junior High age, I am in college.
NO, I DON'T DO THREESOMES.
How will going home with you tell me what it's like to be a lesbian?
Rubbing your crotch is not a turn on
Neither are threats.
Concentrate on driving the bus.
