You came here for personal information so I guess I better tell you about myself.
I'm currently a retail pharmacist practicing in Columbus, Ohio. I spent my college years at Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH. Despite the small size of the campus, it was really a nice place to attend school. I graduated at the end of February 1998. I wrapped up the 5 year program with two real world experience quarters in Columbus. I was lucky to have 3 wonderful sites. I worked at Cardinal Health, a drug wholesale company, and Mount Carmel Medical Center, a local hospital. Then I did a rotation at Dr's Hospital West and the Grove City Family practice center. I made it through those quarters and now am employed by Drug Emporium as a manager. Graduation seemed so far away when I started at ONU in 1992. Time really does fly!
"Why did you go to a school in the middle of a cornfield?"-I hear you say. Well, in addition to a well-respected pharmacy school, ONU has a great music and theater program. The arts keep me going when the rest of my life seems bleak. Out of all the schools I applied, none had the facilities ONU had.
At college I was involved with an Ohio Nothern Freed Center show every year. Pretty soon Fall 2000-2001 they will be celebrating the centers 10th anniversary. These were the shows I performed in:
1993:The Pirates of Penzance
1994:Pippin
1995:The Mikado
1996: Phantom (Yeston/Kopit version)
1997:Die Fledermaus
1997 Summer/Fall:Jesus Christ Superstar
I was also a member of the Added Attraction show choir, University Singers, and The Northernaires, ONU's vocal jazz quartet. I continue to be invited back as a guest performer with my synthesizer talents for both groups.
I grew up in Albany, NY ..... quite a distance from Ada. I have two brothers. Greg graduated from RIT majoring in graphic design, and Andy majored in Pre-Law with an environmental focus at Juniata College in PA. He spent the whole academic year in Mexico for 1999-2000.
My hobbies include playing the piano, singing, traveling, rollerblading, dancing, and surfing the net (AOL, Web pages , e-mail contacts). I'm not the most out-going person in the world, but I do love to have fun. I have traveled around the country and the world. This has really opened my mind to a lot of new sights, sounds, ideas, and people.
An apartment in Westerville, Ohio is my humble abode for now. When I was at ONU I lived on campus the whole time and served as an RA for 2 years. I worked quite extensively at the Freed Center Box Office, and also founded and supported the Open Doors group on campus.
Currently I am seeing a wonderful guy named Andy.
