The Northernaires

The Northernaires is a 4 member vocal jazz quartet composed of Ohio Northern University students. The group sings a variety of music in the style of the Manhattan Transfer.

The group was started in 1993 by Prof. Dennis Kratzer, Director of ONU's choral studies. Dennis also serves as the groups piano player. During the 1995-1996 year we were backed up by 5 brass instruments, bass guitar, and drums.
