Ode to Adam
What I would do
for a body like that,
A temple of unsurpassable deity,
His looks would drive men to kill,
Kill the women that love the man.
He brakes the scales of measurement,
Despite a nominal manhood,
Adam won't deprive the neediest,
Oh woman, you were where the gay man wishes.
His temperament is godlike,
He smiles without worries and can,
Punish people with the smallest frown,
It drives people to suicide.
What one might do for an acquaintance,
I will be forever honoured to know him,
I knew of Adam, but never became too close,
For fear that I would become attached.
I admit that I do have a problem with him,
I love him despite his love for women,
The tales hurt as they saturate purity,
I will always be his butterfly.
Who will replace Adam should he not return,
Hopefully not another from the heavens,
I will have to make pilgrimage,
To the great school of the Lake.
A baptismal of the sea replenishes,
It also hurts the wounds suffered,
Does he have the power to fight,
Poseidon trembles in fear of power.
Adham is the man, progenitor of all,
He gives his gifts to the woman,
She offers regrets after forced from Eden,
He is still forbidden to return as native.
In the mirror, he can see the facade,
Beneath it lurks someone,
Despite his teutonism,
His qualities obliterate the shell.
Adam follows the path of free will,
With the obstacles he attempts vertical,
He takes longer, but he'll always be young,
His stamina will take him all night long.
