The Future Fear
The tears that fall,
Are lonely feelings
Settled deep inside,
That no one can hear.
I'm afraid to talk,
And I'm afraid to laugh,
You have gone away,
To never come back.
The silence around me,
Digs deeper inside,
Cutting through the edges,
Like crying in the night.
The fear inside,
Grows with everyday.
Fear of being alone,
Fear, that never goes away.
The fear of war,
That's brewing inside.
Only for power,
And political pride.
No one cares,
Because no one is there,
The world after war,
Is incredibly bare.
The people are dead,
The flowers are gone.
The only thing left,
Are ashes at dawn.
So open your eyes,
And see through love,
Because war is the vulture,
And peace is the dove.
