To find #bifemdomme, you need a way to access internet relay chat (IRC). If you are IRC-savy, then simply access an Undernet server and join #bifemdomme. (Be sure to check our rules page before doing so!) If you don't know how to access IRC, keep reading. We have provided a series of IRC links below that might help you no matter where you fall on the newbie - old-timer scale. With IRC you can chat people from all over the world on any subject (and in several languages) you can imagine. You log onto a "net" which is a network of "server" computers. Servers process the commands from one set of chatters and send them to other servers which forward them to other chatters. Once on a net, you enter a "channel" which is a virtual room of people united by a common hobby, interest, age group, etc....
The first thing you need is an IRC "client". Clients are software programs that allow you to communicate with the IRC servers. You can download these clients from the internet and install them on your computer. There are links below to some of the more popular clients. You can also use your favorite search engine to look for "irc client" or simply "internet relay chat."
Once you have your client installed, read through the FAQ and/or "getting started" information. You might also follow some of the links below to find IRC tutorial pages. This will help you configure your software and teach you some of the basic commands and terminology of IRC. Don't worry. Once you are "on" IRC, many people will be willing to help you figure things out, and if you have "big" questions there are help channels for most clients and for IRC itself. Undernet even holds a weekly class for people new to IRC.
Once you're ready to come find us, select an Undernet (one of the largest of the IRC nets) server and then type /join #bifemdomme.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
