Where in the World is André?

André Thomas is a friend of Jack and Jim's who used to live in Richmond and now lives in Northern Virgina. Jack met André first, as at the time Jack was working for André's aunt. André had returned to the Richmond area from the Washington DC area where he attended Howard University. Prior to that André has lived many places including Germany (where he went to High School). So André was there in Richmond to witness the sordid disintegration of Jack's previous relationship with an avatar of the devil who must remain nameless, though I refer to him as Satan (after 6 years, 6 months and so many days (6?) he tells me he needs his space, to find himself - what happened - he turned 30! Bitter? Me? No, not at all). André provided encouragement and comfort when Jack needed it, including the time Jack was handcuffed to a chair on stage during a ... well let's just say I was a prop. Then Jack placed his ad in the Style Weekly, Richmond's local cultural newspaper and Jim answered. Jack and Jim have been together ever since. As an added benfit, André and Jim hit it off as friends also.

Since then André has taught Spanish at the local university and travelled extensively. André had the title of Wizard at one place of employment where he designed and coded web pages. André's penultimate main job was working in a nearby correctional facility designing and implementing a foreign language program for the incarcerated. He currently is employed by a major multinational Internet Service Provider and is responsible for the development and maintenance of the internal company web sites.

André also like to make plans, contigency plans, and plans in case something else pops up. Jim's metaphor for this is"André has too many pots on his stove, some simmer, some bubble, some boil over and make a mess"
