Dry Hump

(for a dead camel)

Sterile silicon sands
Cram camels craw.
Adamant ash abrasions
Blast bleachèd bones.
Dessicate desert dunes
Quell quick quarry,
Dromedary desecrators
Push passage past
Hollow haunted hamlets,
Lost limpid lakes.
Worthy wood was;
Infertile isolation is.
Warding waterless waste
Tough treeless teeth
Vanquish vapor vanguard.
Urged up under
Camel carrion courses
True through to
Vital vulture veneer.
High hero hopes,
Zenith zealots zero
Early earth end.

Random refuge ravaged
By bandit bands,
Multitudes mark midnight
no-one notes noon.
"Kindle kindred kismet?"
Asks aged actor;
"Grievous grueling grandeur,
Vast verse vain."
Yet youth yields
Ancient alien agony.

Jaded jackals journey,
Quiet queer quake,
Observe oasis oaths,
Hide hollow hump.
Yearning yammering years
Greet gavel graves.
Fertile fluid forgotten
Camel corpse 'comes
Abandoned abortion.
Camel corpse cries.
