I am a Lacto-Ovo-Vegetarian. Simply put, I don't eat meat!
Some people think that they need to prepare special food for me when in fact they are making what I like and then adding to it.
Examples:
Make a salad. Good for me. Now add bacon bits or ham for you.
Make an ommelet adding green peppers, tomatos, and onions. Good for me. Now add ham, sausage or bacon for you.
Beans. Great for me. Add ham or whatever for you.
BBQ a veggieburger - 2 minutes. A hamburger - 5 to 7 minutes. Not counting the time to prep the burger.
Here's a crude breakdown on the different kinds of vegetarians:
