I visited this wonderful country in the week between december 13 and 19, 1997, after a long period of planing (specially monetary...). I stayed in the Meliá Cohiba Hotel, a great 5 stars hotel in Havana City - a total luxe that's worth while relishing! Different from it could seem, it's not so expensive - especially in my case, with the tourist agency.
- "But why hell did he go to Cuba?" - it must be the question on the mind of all of you. That's because I have a friend for about 3 years: Daniel. He's a very cool person and he showed me some hot points of Havana City. and what the tourist have to do to avoid troubles.
Cuba is an island, in all senses. Fidel Castro controls with hard pulse his dictatorship for more than 30 years, creating so a typical culture.
But cuban people is just like brazilians are: glad, full of life and strength, dreams and hopeness.
As all trips full of emotions and new friends, it leaves in the heart a
missing feeling making the lips smile remembering that good moments, leaving
the will of return someday!
