| We flew across from Manchester on the Friday morning
(5th June, 1998). It was a cheap flight (£59) return
because we had taken full advantage of a Grolsch beer
promotion! We met our friend Steve (who was working out there, but is now back in London) in the Amstel Bar for a few beers. Then it was back to his flat to drop of our bags. He had in a nice flat near the city centre. |

We went to a Brazilian restaurant for a meal - a bit different. I was the only one that enjoyed it. Next stop was a coffee shop to stock up on ready-rolled joints!!!! We don't smoke, but do enjoy the occasional joint. As it's completely illegal in the UK we don't do it here. (Just in case there's anyone from Her Majesty's Customs reading this!) After getting nicely stoned we went home to put on our sleazy leather and rubber clothes. |
| It's a strange sensation being able to walk through
the street wearing leather chaps and a jockstrap - nobody
bothers!! Very relaxed and tolerant atmosphere. That
night we went round lots of cruisy leather and rubber
bars. In one bar the man next to took off his jeans and
started to jerk off. He was soon joined by a lot of other
men - without trousers on!! On the Saturday we did some sightseeing - sex shops and record stores. Went to lots of bars and smoked lots of dope. Lovely. At night we went round some of the trendy gay bars and then on to dance the night away in iT disco. |

Sunday more sightseeing, more bars, more smoking! At night we lay down for a little sleep at 8pm and didnt wake up till 10 am on Monday morning. Now that's what I call relaxed. On Monday we did the canal boat trip and some more sightseeing before departing for the airport and our flight home. |
