In God’s House

                        Verse

A small congregation was started

in August of 2002.

And for the outcast and downhearted

it was a haven of acceptance so true.

A place we can share all our talents,

where we flourish and learn of God’s Word.

When we leave this building

and others see Christ in us, too.

Refrain

I’ve never felt such freedom

as in this little place.

The worship is so close to Christ,

I can almost see His Face.

There is a special presence and aura

of Jesus in every room.

When we take our communion together,

we know we have nothing to prove.

Verse

It has been our experience,

most of us attending here

to be rejected and outcast by our peers.

But in this church, inside these walls,

we’re safe to be ourselves.

And when we go outside these walls,

we invite and share and tell.

(Refrain)
