There are two ways that safe words work. One method involves red light (stop, untie sub), yellow light(stop, listen to sub), and green light(continue). The other method that i am aware of uses any word that would not normally be used in conversation such as "Hiawatha". When a gag is used normally the sub will do something like stomp her foot three times to get you to remove the gag and see what's wrong.
You and your sub are in the throws of a really hot scene and you are ready to climax when she stomps her foot three times, what do you do?
