This page is about leaving the cap off the toothpaste tube, emptying the trash, going to the store, toilet paper, the seat on the comode, and everyday living as a sub. Ain't it great?!
What is it to be a sub?

Look at it. Say we run out of toliet paper... for example.
Like i said, it has to be my fault because it's my job to see to it that i's there. Why is that good?
Well first of all, there's no shifting around on the blame.
Next, we both know who's job it is to go to the store and get some - it's mine! Again no shifting around on who's suposed to go.
When does it get done? Right now, because, since i'm the sub it is my duty to serve immediately.
But there are two people in this house, in this relationship.
Rob considers it his fault that the paper ran out because he thinks that it is his duty as Master to provide for his sub, He thinks it's his duty to go to the store and get some more, right now.
So what happens? We both go to the store - together. That is good.
But not all things are handled in such an ideal fashion.
Supose i am busy with other things? Then he goes even though i want to, but i get to stay at home and do whatever else it is that i have to do - hopefully something for him. That is good.
Supose he is busy? Then i get to go and serve him. That is good.
i want to be 100% sub, he wants to be 100% Master. i am a sub, he is my Master. Our roles are defined. We both know who should get the paper. i know it's me, he knows it's him. That is good.
Compare that to a vanilla household:
Do they know who's job it is to do what? Aren't there things that niether claims as thier reasponsability?
i have no problems with wondering who's job it is to do anything around the house - it's all my job. Even if Rob thinks it's his.
The trash can is full. Who's job is it to empty it? All together now - it's mine! No doubt about it, no second thoughts, it's my job as the local sub. But Rob doesn't think i should do it, because it's heavy. So he orders me to tell him when it needs emptying so he can do it.
And when it's full i do tell him, and when i tell him it's full he gets it right away, because he knows i think it's my job to empty it and that i'll get it in just a few seconds. And if i do empty the trash then i know he couldn't get it right then. No doubts no worries. It was my job to begin with and i'm grateful for all the times he got it for me. Life is a lot easier when we don't have to decide on every step of the way. That is good.
Who's job is it to put the cap back on the toothpaste? Mine of course. How about lowering the seat on the comode? Mine. But does the cap get left off or the comode seat get left up? Rarely, but if it happens i know who's job it is. That is good.
But what if the trash needs emptying and Rob is busy and he knows i'm going to get it in a few seconds and he can't get it before me?
He could tie me up - it's happened before. That is good. Is it ever!
Yes, it is good to be a sub, be myself. i know who i am. i can really be who i am and that is good too.
Is there a bad side to being a sub? Yes, of course, there are always good sides and bad sides to everything. So what is bad about being a sub? i can never never ever do something that i wish i could do and that is to be a slave. i wish i could, but being a slave is bad because it means i could be made to do things that i don't want to do, so i have to settle for being a sub. And that's the best part!
