Your Eyes

I once was blocked from all to see,
But somehow you broke through my wall.
Your eyes, so strong, pierced into me.
My only hope- you like what you saw.

You didn't back away one bit.
Instead, you worked to stay there.
Inside my soul's dark, hardened pit,
You gave me light and life with your stare.

Life now has meaning and course.
Before, I think it was lacking.
I have you to thank, for being that force,
Which has given me my much needed backing.

Your eyes are so powerful and true.
They can see past any physical sight.
Venturing, are your eyes of blue,
Into a place I now know is right.
