Ian and Jane
I'm writing from England to say how jealous I am of you
Americans and your
law enforcers' predeliction for cuffs n stuff.
A girlfriend of mine was
arrested in the States for driving without a valid licence
and ended up
being held in custody. She had to appear in court
and so dressed herself
up for the occasion in a floral dress with heels and
stockings. To her
amazement, for the journey to court, she was handcuffed
and shackled at the
ankles. The image of her thus adorned has remained
with me ever since and
I've often wondered what it must be like to be chained
like that in public.
There's something unreal about the combination of ultra-feminine
clothes
and handcuffs and leg-irons, especially when the offence
was something as
trivial as a traffic violation. It was a real pleasure
to come across your
place on the web. I particularly enjoyed the story of
Amy's Trial. Any
tips as to where I could get hold of a pair of leg-irons,
just for a trip
down memory lane?
Yours,
Jo
