I was born in Inverness, Scotland on 20th May 1952, and grew up there.
In 1968 I moved to Keith, Banffshire and then to university in Aberdeen.
From 1974 I worked in Edinburgh and in 1978 I went to Iran and found
myself in the middle of the revolution there. I escaped to Australia
for a year, and came to London in 1980 for six months.
Twenty years later, I'm still here!
My current life -
I moved in July 1999 to New Barnet, North London
I work as an accountant at the South Bank Centre, - Europe's largest centre for the visual and performing arts
I am a gay man, with a partner - Andrew
I play tennis at Totteridge Tennis Club
I play golf at Bridgedown Golf Club in Barnet
I am a member of 'Irons' a gay golfing society
I enjoy travel, and so far in 2000 have spent weekends in Madrid, Andalucia, Barcelona, Paris - and Exeter
Last year I was in Spain a few times, and went to India in November.
I enjoy theatre, concerts, contemporary dance, gay pubs, and the company of friends
