Unity GLF is a gay, lesbian, and friends Student Organization at Northeast Louisiana University. These Web pages are put up for the education and support of all. Unity GLF invites you to join us in our efforts to educate students and others in the community in creating a safer, more accepting environment for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgendered persons. We work directly with organizations in our community as well as groups from other colleges and universities whose goals are the same as ours. Since there is strength in numbers, we must continue to foster communication between various gay and lesbian groups throughout the state and we need your help.
Unity GLF meets every Monday from 6:30pm -- 7:30pm in SUB 207/208. Please join us! Email Casmirror@juno.com for further information.
Unity GLF will be attending the student groups conference in March, 1999. This annual conference is held for the express purpose of fostering the growth and development of members of gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered student groups from colleges and universities from the South and for those individuals who are interested in learning more about the diversity that our culture has to offer. The conference is always hosted by a Louisiana college or university and our next host will be the Gay and Lesbian Alliance of the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana--the home of the Ragin' Cajuns.
