Pictures of Me...

pic # 1 These four, are black and whites I got while in Calgary, in one of those little photo booths that they have in malls. It just happened to be in a mall. My Friend Jenn was with me but didn't want her picture taken.
I think I look great in them, of course you can disagree, but you'd be wrong... and that's okay. I like this one the best. It shows off my general expression...calm and cool with a little bit of mischief in my eyes. Don't I just look like I'm calmly planning to take over the world, in an inoccent boy next door kind of way...okay so its not quite like that but its close. (Oh shut up). pic # 2
pic # 3 The second one is quite an average shot of me that I really like. It shows how I normally look like when I'm out. Although the rest are pretty average too.
Except of course for number four. I was having fun with this one. I'd been posing and I started getting into it I guess. What do you think am I too sexy for my own good? Yep, I'm runway material oh yeah. Or at least I like looking at myself in the mirror I mean that has to be a sign of model potential, right? Grrrrr!

How's my hair? This is an oldy but a goody. This is the picture from my U of S student card. It was taken in the fall of 1996. I had slightly shorter hair then. I've been thinking about cutting it shorter again...it did look good didn't it. But I think for now I'll leave my hair long. Besides I've spent so much time growing it out and trying to keep it long yet not out of control I think its worth letting grow. Otherwise I would have done all that work for nothing, and besides I've wanted it long for some time now but I keep losing my patients with it and getting it chopped off all the time. I think I'll let it grow. Yup.

Just so you all know I am 6 foot 3 inches tall. I figured that this was important because Jordan was quite surprised by my height when he met me so I figured I'd include it in my discription.

I This is a picture of me and my neice when she was only a month or so old. Her name is Gabriella and I fell in love with her sweet little face as soon as I saw her. She just loves me too. She's about two years and months old right now. We get along so well. So even looks at people and says "Boo!" to people just like I do. She's got her uncle Ryan's personality too. Perky, energetic, and friendly. I think she's great. Her baby sister is absolutley wonderful too. I hope to get some pictures of my family on the family page soon too.

This is a picture of me at General Council Youth Forum in 1994. I was asleep on the bus ride back to camp for a day out in the woods. It was a great hike that took us around Fergus Falls, Ontario. We saw the river and a lot of the local country side. There was something special about the place we'd been to but I don't remember what it was. It was a great place to hike through. I liked it but I was pretty tired after a long day of sessions at the General Council meeting of the United church of Canada and the hike. A friend sent it to me, she said I looked so peaceful that she needed to take the picture.

This picture was taken this passed New Year's Eve. I was pretty drunk so I was being a goof. This is me winking at the camera just to make sure that my record for never having one ggod picture from a New Year's Party would go unbroken. This is at a dance put on by the Rita Deganger. Brian and Bryon volunteer for them and they suggested we go. It was an absolute blast. If you're ever in town at New Years go to their dance. Although I think that it may have been the last one. Someone said something along those lines. I hope not.

I was pretty dressed up that's part of the reason why I look like a vampire. The other is that I was really really drunk so I was pail from the thining of the blood that happened. I'd say that this was the best New Year's dance I've ever been to. It wasn't really the dance though. Sure the music was great and the food was good. The servers were all very cute and all. I must say though that what made this the best New Years Dance was that I was surrounded by so many good friends who were all having fun. I'd say that anything is good if you are surrounded by friends. I think that it was because I was around such special friends though. My best friends in the world really. Yep, even Jenn was there. All of my room mates and closest friends at the same party. The only thing that would have topped it was if my family was there too. They had other parties to go to though.

These two pictures are from my friend Jenn's place here in Saskatoon. We were just hanging out and decided to take some pictures. It was right before I got my hair cut. Yes I did actually get it chopped off.are you warm I know I am I know it looks good but apparently it looks even better short than it does long I didn't understand it myself but the response has been overwhelming. "Ryan look so good!" and "See I told you that you'd look better with shorter hair." Some pictures of this are soon to come. As soon as I can get them printed and scanned that is. I really don't know about this whole short hair thing, yes I do agree that it looks better but the fact is that I miss my hair when its short. I miss the feel of it on my cheeck, the softness of the hair brushing along my brow as it falls to caress my face. Its so soft and flowing...okay I'll stop that now. I do tend to get a bit into the experience, but I just really like my hair. Its really nice. I do suppose that might have been a frightening experience for some of you. But you'll get over it. I hope. Bsides if you don't hey, it my hair, so sll you have to do is think: "Hmm its his hair so I don't have to worry about it. Its not wether he loks good that's important. Its if I think that I look good that is important." And I'm sure you'll feel much better. You should love your image and no one else's should really be all that important. Don't forget to include your personality into your evaluation of your appearance because you should get extra points for being a nice person.

Wasn't I a little cutie? This is me when I was about eight years old and I had just had my dog for about three months maybe more. I had really wanted a dog for a long time and someone answered my prayers by giving us Sandy. To this day I swear that she was the smartest mammal I have ever met face to face. She was empathetic, you could judt tell, and darn smart for a dog. When she was cold in the winter and needed back inside; if her barking wasn't loud enough to get our attention she used to knock on the door with her tail to get our attention. Like I said she was very smart. She was taken from us on Halloween night in 1994, dying of breast cancer. She was a good dog right to the end. I remember looking into her eyes earlier that day and being able to tell that she was holding on for the family, her pack. I told her that she was a good girl and that it was okay to die. I have NEVER cried that much in my life. Actually I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it so I have to stop now, but I'll do more another day. Soon.

This is me getting ready to go out to a breeder bar with the girls downstairs. Apparently I looked good. This is my tightest shirt. I got it at Below The Belt. It was like fifty bucks. That seems like a lot for a really small shirt. Clothes are getting priced insanely now-a-days. I mean really a hundred bucks for a pair of jeans. Come on people, this is getting rediculous. And I hate having brand names plastered on my clothing so I usually don't pay for them. I mean I love shopping and I love buying new clothes, especailly growing up getting my brother's hand-me-down clothes all the time as a kid, but yeech its getting so that I'm considering buying from second hand places...expecially for jeans. Not that I expect they'd have many jeans with a 30 inch waist and a 36 inch leg. Its hard enough finding them new.

Well now that you've seen what I look like in the winter. Here's an okay shot of me in the summer time. It's from last summer (the summer of 1998) when I was roller blading and going to class all summer. I really enjoyed roller blading with friends cause then I would have someone to talk to while I exercised. It was great to blade alone though, down by the river during some of my evening treks through town with wheels attached to my feet. It's so peaceful and calm in the summer so I could think and enjoy the view.

I plan to do it next summer too. I do so like to look like I'm keeping fit. Probably could use some time on the blades right now. Christmas dinner was really filling. And what with the weather out here (it's freezing) I don't get out much during the winter. I mean sure I go to class, and walk around campus a bunch and all that jazz but I don't seem to be getting to the fit center as much as I used to anymore. Maybe I'm just getting lazy in my old age. Oh well. Talk to y'all later.

Now a more recent picture. This was taken within the last year. This one was taken last year in the hallway outside of my apartment at the time. I wil hopefully be adding more pics soon I have not had any pictures taken for a while, perhaps my parents will give me copies of the pictures from my birthday party.

These two are from a few years back when I was at Conference Annual Meeting for the United Chruch, it was fun. I always had fun at those meetings though. I got to make lots of friends and meet realy interesting people. Not to mention that being involved in the decisions that the church makes is an awesome experience, especially when people get into real debates about things.

This is a picture of me in Avebury (I think that's how it was spelled), England, in June of 2002. I spent a month visiting a friend and working for a ball at a college in Cambridge. Lots o' fun. I had a lot of fun, I met a lot of people, and got to see a good friend who was in Montreal for a while. I even met the cutest guy in England, sorry William it wasn't you, it was this guy named Chris. He was kinda shy but seemed sweet...I heard from the grape vine that he may have thought I was cute too. Cool huh?

Anyway enough about guys in England, the whole country was gorgeous and I might have more pics of me around there if you're all well behaved. :)

There will be more pictures to come. Hopefully.

Thanks for dropping by!! :) I hope you liked the pics
