Chapter 4

I had already decided on some bets so put the first one on at the Tote. We were attracting a lot of attention, partly because of the TV camera and interviewer following us everywhere (but perhaps partly because of our glamorous outfits?) Anyhow everyone was very friendly and lots of other ladies paid us very nice compliments.
	Unfortunately as it turned out my horse won the first race and I was so overcome with confidence that I put much larger bets on the next 3 races and lost it all.

I decided that I had had enough excitement betting and parading in the crowds and walked back to the other side to watch the final races with Monique who is a charming girl and fun to be with.

We had a final drink, posed for some last photos

and left before the final race in order to be ahead of the crowds.
