Lucy at the In Time Studio

Flowers for Lucy

Having made an appointment by phone with Tasleen, the lovely lady who runs the In Time Studio, I drove to the City and parked in the NCP car park in Whites Row and walked the very short distance to the studio. Tasleen welcomed me and introduced me to the professional photographer, Roslyn who was already setting up her lighting, backdrops and other equipment for the shoot.

Over a nice cup of tea, the three of us discussed the type of portraits that I wanted, the image that I seek to portray and the outfits that I would wear. Both have extensive experience of making-up and photographing models and actresses and are committed to achieving results of the highest standard.

Tasleen gave me a stunning make-over designed to give me a natural, but glamorous look. Her success is that, while in practice putting on a lot of make-up, she achieves an outcome that looks as though she has used very little. She also changed the shades and colours to suit the different outfits and images. She showed me lots of dresses that I could choose to wear and also provided shoes and jewellery to co-ordinate with each outfit.

Roslyn makes each setting different by changing the lighting, backdrop and pose and then takes a Polaroid test shot before starting the shoot. She put me completely at ease by directing each pose and telling me each time how great I looked! I knew that I was working with a professional who is used to making her models look and feel beautiful, feminine and sexy.

We decided that I would wear six different outfits:

  • My blue brocade suit from Doreen Fashions with a pair of Tasleen's beige high heeled sandals

  • My White slip dress and jacket from Doreen Fashions for Royal Ascot

  • My white long dress from Doreen Fashions

  • My white satin negligee over a white mini slip from Saulgrove House

  • My gold and black 50's party dress from Ted's Corner with gold high heeled sandals

  • One of Tasleen's dresses, a green lycra mini dress

After the shoot, Tasleen went to get the film developed at a nearby photographic shop and soon returned with the prints, which achieved all that I had hoped. She and Tasleen then helped me choose which ones to keep for my portfolio.

The 5 hours we spent together was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait for my next shoot. I recommend it to any tranny who wants to have portraits that portray her at her most feminine and glamorous.
