Lucy's Spring 2000 Diary

Chapter 1

I wore my blue suit and low healed shoes. My first aim was to find a long dress for summer parties, so I drove to Fashion Fun where as always Aswin and his charming wife greeted me warmly. They had a large stock of the new season’s long dresses and ballgowns and after looking at lots of them I selected four to try on.
a lovely white dress with thin straps and a matching shawl First, a lovely white dress with thin straps and a matching shawl. It fitted beautifully and Aswin was very enthusiastic about it, but I decided that it was too similar to a white dress that I had bought last year from Doreen Fashions.
Next, a dark green and gold dress with a very pretty bust-line. It fitted beautifully and Aswin said it made me look very elegant and sophisticated. I knew that it would be ideal for smart summer dinner parties and decided to buy it. a dark green and gold dress with a very pretty bust-line
a shiny dark blue dress with a halter neck Then, a shiny dark blue dress with a halter neck. Unfortunately it showed too much of the strapless white bra that I was wearing. I agreed with Aswin that if I could find a matching push-up bra I would try it on again on my next visit because it really was very sexy.
Finally, a stunning pink ballgown with a fitted bodice and flowing skirt over an underskirt and net petticoat. I fell in love with it immediately I saw it and was thrilled when I put it on that it fitted perfectly. It is made for being swept around the dance floor in a strong man’s arms! a stunning pink ballgown with a fitted bodice
Aswin complimented me on my slip As I was dressing again before paying for my purchases, Aswin who was wrapping the dresses complimented me on my slip and took a photo of me wearing it in the changing room.
I had spent longer there than I had intended, but I so enjoy looking for and trying on pretty dresses and was delighted with the two gowns that I bought.
