My home state. While still very conservative, there is a lot going one for gays and lesbians.
The state has one statewide publication, The Indiana Word. The also covers some areas of Kentucky, Ohio and eastern Illinois. It's web page also offers a ton of links to bars and groups throughout the state.
There are other gay and lesbian publications, Indy's OUTLines and the Bloomington Beacon. Neither has a web page. All of the publications are monthly.
Gay and Lesbian Indianapolis has links and info about groups in Indy and the rest of the state. It's run through the Diversity Center, Indy's gay and lesbian community center and home of the local gay library and archives. The Gay and Lesbian Resource Guide for Indianapolis also has a lot of links.
