The Other Side of the Coin
Who do you see when you look into the mirror? Do you see who you are or who you wish to be?

Some people live their entire lives hidden behind masks of fear, some behind masks of sadness and some behind the shadows of others. What's your personal mask? Being honest with our friends and family is like ringing a bell - once it has been sounded it can not be "unrung".

When we make the decision to express our inner selves to the world there can be no regrets and no apologies for who we are. Our open expression of who we are can often lead to alienation, unhappiness and divorce. Acceptance doesn't automatically follow just because we have bared our souls to our spouse/lover or friends. Fundamentally we are not different people now. We all carry personal biases, prejudices and fears differently - be respectful, be sensitive and unselfish as you explore and express your identity with those around you.

How will you choose to live your life and celebrate what makes you unique?
