How and Why

I told my wife.

We had been married about a year and just moved into a new apartment. On saturdays I worked till noon and my wife till 3:30 pm. By now I had managed to start a new collection of clothes. I kept them hidden in a storage locker in the garage.

I got off at noon and she had said she would take the bus home. I had plenty of time to get out some of my things. So I spent the afternoon trying on my pantys and bras. Well when I got ready to put them away I left a bra on the stand in the hall by the bathroom. She wasn't home very long before she discovered my mistake. She came into the kitchen holding up the bra and said "Who's is this?" I knew she thought I had a girl in the house while she was working. All I could tell her was It's not what you think. I guess we had better sit down and talk about it.

I had told her about going to the psychologist Ijust never told her completely why. So I told her that the bra was mine and I had been wearing it but forgot to put it away. And then I told her the full story about when my folks had found all my things. I told her that I had tried to quit but I just could not. It was to much a part of me. I tried to explain about my feminine side and how relaxing it was to wear these things and excape from the mens world. That I wasn't any less a man and that I didn't want to be with a man. The first thought is that you are gay. If any thing I was a male lesbian. I loved girls and just wanted to be like one. That I loved the feel and look of the clothing and enjoyed wearing it. I told her I had some books on the subject and offered to let her read them.

After about another hour of repeat conversation I saved my marriage, got at least her tolerance, and started wearing pantys instead of my briefs everyday. I could also wear a nightie on occasion.

It didn't take long before I was full dressing with make up and everthing. Now that has been well over thirty years ago. I have learned a great deal since then.
