Paul Hilber jr. from Wil in Switzerland did his best to make
possible the Estonian expedition to Swiss Alps in 1994. Actually it was Paul's idea to organize an invitation for a group of climbers from "Firn" to stay for some days in summer'94 at Zwinglipass-Hütte, a hut of a local section of the Swiss Alpine Club - SAC Toggenburg. This stay was really enjoyable and reception very warm! Participants appreciate very much Paul's contribution to the success of the expedition. Unfortunately, they were not lucky enough to meet Paul in Switzerland in August'94: on March 30, 1994 he participated in a climb to the Grand Combin in Swiss Alps which happened to be his last... |
