The first thing about this year that needs to be mentioned is the color change to the cabin formerly known as "Diorite" or "Pete and Jeremy's." My main problem with it is that it is brown. And not a cute brown...an ugly brown that looks like, well, um, I think Jared Wyllys said it best with, "It just makes me want to sit on the can." Now if you are the person who had this *great* idea, please do not be offended. I'm sure you meant well and think it looks lovely. I'm sure there are people who share your opinion; after all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, I happen to think the color change is the worst idea since the new 'Grace Hall.'
Now that I've gotten that out, I can set aside the rest of the page for the rest of the happenings of the summer of 2000.
