The Funny Story That Didn't Happen
When Pete and Jeremy were the cooks, they had a terrible time draining all that Sunday night spaghetti. Once when Mike, my brother-in-law, was at camp visiting (back when visitors...well, nevermind, this is a funny story page not my rant and rave page) he got the idea to drill holes in one of those huge ten gallon buckets so that all they had to do was put the spaghetti all in this one bucket and drain it easily. They loved the idea and made 'Mike's Bucket,' a clean bucket used for this purpose that had the words Mike's Bucket and 1993 written on it. Well, Chris must have thrown it out or something because it is gone now. Last summer at Teddy Bear Camp, we thought it would be funny if he went up to the counter and said, "Hi. I'm Mike. I'm looking for my bucket." But he didn't, and now the joke would be totally lost because the new staff members probably don't even remember that Mike's Bucket even existed.
