Larry Zbyszko: Welcome to IWA Smackdown! We're live at the Ice Palace in Tampa Bay, Florida. And the man to my side who always has the inside scoop, Michael Cole.
Michael Cole: Well Larry, this is our 6th monthly spectacular. And this one has got to be the biggest and best. In action tonight, we get to see matches for the Hardcore, Stables, Cruiserweight, Intercontinental, and World Titles. We also get to see who wins the vacant Online Title in the 8-man battle royal.
Larry Zbyszko: The one match I'm interested in seeing is that Online Title battle. There's so much talent involved that I can't even make a prediction!
Michael Cole: That can't be more true Larry. In that match, we have Joey "The Hitman", O.G. Chunk, Kasino, New Jack, Rob Van Dam, Zeus Fulton, Chaos, and the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin. But the one match I'd love to see is the blindfold ladder match for the Intercontinental Title.
Larry Zbyszko: Most people are a bit confused for the stipulation of that match though. Let me break it down for you for a minute. Both men, BioHazard and Triple H, are blindfolded. Then it's just a normal ladder match.
Michael Cole: But of course, the one match people want to see the most, Orge Lambart against Cyrus Fulton in our main event tonight. The two men have basically set the pace for the Icon Wrestling Alliance over the last couple of weeks.
Larry Zbyszko: We have to make our way to that match though, so we're going to head to the ring and get started with IWA Smackdown!
David Penzer: This following matchup is a
Double Tables match scheduled for the IWA
Cruiserweight Title. First, heading to the ring,
standing at 6 feet tall, and weighing 218 pounds,
representing the Anarchy, the master of the Exploding
Keggar, from Utopia, Drunkaholic.
Blood and Whiskey by the Dropkick Murphy's plays
over the IWA SoundScreen as Drunkaholic appears from
the back. The Anarchy logo flashes over the IWA-Tron
as he makes his way to the ring with mixed reactions
from the fans.
David Penzer: And his opponent, standing at
6'1" and weighing 227 pounds, representing
D-Generation-X, the master of Sweet Chin Music, from
San Antonia, Texas, accompanied to the ring by Sycho
Sid, your IWA Cruiserweight and Stables Champion, the
Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels.
Sexy Boy shoots over the IWA SoundScreen as your
IWA Cruiserweight and Stables Champion appears from
the back. He makes his way to the ring as the arena
fills up with boos. He steps in the ring and throws
a crotch chop at Drunkaholic.
Drunkaholic runs at Michaels after the crotch chop,
but he misses a double axe-handle. Drunkaholic runs
into the corner and moves out backwards. Michaels
grabs Drunkaholic and throws him down with a belly to
back suplex. Michaels climbs back up and then to the
top turnbuckle. He throws his arms up into the air,
but only receives boos from the fans. Drunkaholic
rolls himself outside the ring. Sycho Sid starts to
chase him around, so Drunkaholic runs back into the
ring. Before he can climb to his feet, Shawn
Michaels stomps onto his back. Michaels pulls him up
and whips him into the corner. Michaels runs at him
with a splash, but Drunkaholic moves out of the way.
Drunkaholic catches Michaels from behind with a elbow
smash. Then Drunkaholic drops him with a Reverse
Russian leg sweep. Drunkaholic runs at the ropes and
hops up on the top rope. Then he flies back onto
Michaels with a springboard moonsault. Drunkaholic
pulls Michaels up and whips him into the ropes.
Drunkaholic leapfrogs over Michaels and then drops
under. Michaels comes back with a leg
scissors. Michaels rolls Drunkaholic outside the
ring as Sycho Sid starts to pound on him. Michaels
grabs one of the tables and slides into the ring. He
stands it up and positions it close to the ropes.
Then Sid slides the other table into Michaels and
continues to beat Drunkaholic. Then Sid rolls him
back in. Michaels grabs Drunkaholic and pulls him up
to the top turnbuckle. He lays Drunkaholic on the
top table. Michaels takes a hop and flies over to
the tables. Drunkaholic gets up and catches Michaels
in mid-air. Then he drops him through the table with
the EXPLODING KEGGAR!!! Both tables are broken and
Drunkaholic wins!
Larry Zbyszko: I can't believe it! Drunkaholic pulled himself together at the last second to break Michaels through both tables.
Michael Cole: That was surprising, I have to tell you that. And just the other day, Drunkaholic was saying we should retire that belt. Well here's his chance to do it.
Larry Zbyszko: I think he's just the guy to do it too. I wonder what President NateDogg has to say about this.
Michael Cole: Well if he does, I'm sure I'll find out. But now we have to go to our next matchup. Let's go to the ring with David Penzer.
David Penzer: This following matchup is scheduled for onefall for the IWA Stables Titles. First headed to the ring as the challengers, weighing at a total of 794 pounds, Joey "The Hitman", The Brewer, and Cyrus Fulton, the Anarchy.
Tragedy by Rza shoots onto the IWA SoundScreen as the Anarchy logo shoots on to the IWA-Tron. Then the Anarchy appears and makes the crowd go wild. Cyrus Fulton carries his World Title and The Brewer carries his Hardcore Title. Raw Dogg leads the way to the ring.
David Penzer: And their opponents, weighing at a total of 889 pounds, Sycho Sid, Freebird Michael Hayes, and Triple H, the IWA Stables Champions, D-Generation-X.
The D-Generation-X Theme shoots out onto the IWA SoundScreen as the screen flashes from what is on the IWA-Tron and the scenes of DX on the entry ramp. They carry the Stables Titles, Intercontinental Title, and Tag Team Titles. The three men are headed by Sexy Sabrina, Chyna, and Megan. They walk into the ring as the Anarchy steps out. Triple H grabs the microphone from Penzer and begins to speak while the fans boo.
Triple H: If you all would be quiet for a minute and let me speak, I've got something important to say. Now as of late, the guys in D-Generation-X have been recruiting. Well, like always, you go after the young and stellar wrestlers. And here is my train of thought. I go after guys I know will be around, and I go after some of the toughest son of a bitches in wrestling. So without further adue, one of the toughest son-of-a-bitches in wrestling, Rob Van Dam!
RVD's Theme shoots out over the IWA SoundScreen as Mr. PPV appears from the back with Bill Alfonso. He walks toward the ring as the fans turn in boos. He steps into the ring and climbs to the top turnbuckle as Triple H hands him the mic.
Rob Van Dam: The decision is simple. What kind of guy wouldn't want to wrestle with the best guys in the business. So that's what I'm doing. So now all of you have to worry about the toughest and most hardcore people in wrestling. So to all you that aren't down with DX, I got two words for ya, SUCK IT!
Sexy Sabrina, Chyna, Megan, and Rob Van Dam make their way to the outside. He stands there in awe as he realizes that DX is the place to be with all the women. Then he ring clears out as Freebird and The Brewer come into the ring. The bell rings and the match begins. Freebird and The Brewer tie up in the ring. The Brewer whips the 330 pounder into the corner. Freebird bounces out and runs back towards the Brewer. The Brewer drops Freebird flat on his face with a drop toe hold. The Brewer places Freebird's legs back into an inverted figure four position. Then The Brewer sticks his legs in between and bridges it. Freebird lets out this scream. Sycho Sid steps into the ring and throws a kick into The Brewer's gut. Then he pulls The Brewer up and slams him down with a chokeslam. Cyrus Fulton flies off the top rope and drops Sycho Sid with a flying cross body block. Cyrus scats quickly out of the ring. Then the referee rolls Sycho Sid outside the ring. Freebird crawls over to his corner and tags in Triple H. The Intercontinental Champion runs in with the belt and whacks Cyrus with it. Fulton falls to the ground on the outside and begins to bleed from his head. Joey helps Fulton clear the blood up. Triple H throws his title back outside the ring to Rob Van Dam. Triple H drags The Brewer to the center of the ring. Triple H leans back off the top rope and drops a knee onto the face of The Brewer. Triple H pulls The Brewer up and whips him into the ropes. Triple H attempts to hit him with the high knee. The Brewer catches him in mid-air and powerslams him to the mat. The Brewer crawls slowly towards his corner and tags in Joey "The Hitman". Hitman throws a kick into the gut of Triple H and lays him in the center of the ring. Joey bounces back off the ropes and drops a cannonball onto Triple H. Joey goes for a cover. 1...2...Triple H kicks out. Joey throws Triple H into the corner and goes for a splash, but Triple H throws his legs up. Joey falls flat backwards. Triple H falls toward the other side and tags Sycho Sid in. Joey reaches over and tags in the IWA World Champion. Cyrus hits Sid with a drop kick. Then he drops an elbow down onto Sid. Fulton pulls him up and throws him over with a fisherman's suplex. Cyrus runs over to DX's corner and smashes both Triple H and Freebird with forearm shots. Both men hold onto the ringropes and try to climb back in, but Joey and The Brewer get in their way. Joey and The Brewer spear both men through the ropes and to the outside. All four men start to brawl then Rob Van Dam comes over there and helps out Freebird and Triple H a bit. Then the Closer by the Nine Inch Nails plays over the IWA SoundScreen as Zeus Fulton appears from the back. He runs down to the ring and pulls David Penzer's chair out from under him. He folds it up and slides it into the ring. Cyrus Fulton holds Sycho Sid up and Zeus Fulton swings the chair. Sycho Sid ducks and Zeus Fulton decks his own cousin! Zeus pulls Cyrus to the center of the ring and climbs to the top rope. Zeus hits him with the HELLFIRE!!! Zeus leans over the top rope and springboards onto The Brewer and Joey "The Hitman". Sycho Sid covers Fulton. 1...2...3. DX retains the IWA Stables Titles.
Larry Zbyszko: What a major development! D-Generation-X has just turned into a major powerhouse. These guys are going to be hard to be stopped.
Michael Cole: I'm just surprised Zeus Fulton decided to hang with DX instead of his own flesh and blood, Cyrus Fulton.
Larry Zbyszko: We've seen stranger things. I'm not going to get into of any of those as of right now though. We'll just have to wit for another date.
Michael Cole: We'll before we see something strange out here, I think we should make it to the ring.
David Penzer: This following matchup is a chair matchup scheduled for onefall. First headed to the ring, standing at 6'6" tall and weighing 330 pounds, representing D-Generation-X, the master of the Iron Claw, from Badd Street, USA, Freebird Michael Hayes.
Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd hits the IWA SoundScreen as Freebird makes his way toward the ring with his Tag Team and Stables belts. Fans fill the arena with boos as Freebird steps into the ring.
And his opponent, standing at 6'8" tall and weighing 275 pounds, the master of the Menacing Milldawg, from Chambersburgh, Pennsylvania, Mad Milldawg.
Hells Bells shoots out over the IWA SoundScreen as the European Champion comes out with his belt held high. He points over at Freebird and then to his belt and shakes his head no. Then he throws the finger at Freebird. The fans blow up in a cheer.
Freebird runs into the ring and then stands up. Freebird tries to hit him with the chair, but Milldawg ducks under it. He takes a whack with his chair and knocks Freebird to the ground. Milldawg lays his foot down across Freebird's throat and chokes him. The referee pulls Milldawg back after a five count. Milldawg pulls Freebird up to his feet and whips him into the ropes. Freebird ducks under a chair shot and then throws a knee into Milldawg's chest. Freebird lifts him up into the air and drops him down with a brainbuster. Freebird grabs his chair and smacks it across the back of Milldawg. Then he lays his chair under Milldawg and climbs to the middle turnbuckle. Freebird splashes down across Milldawg's body. He hooks his leg for a cover. 1...2...Milldawg kicks out. Freebird pulls him up and then powerslams him to the mat. Freebird bounces off the ropes and drops onto Milldawg with a legdrop. Freebird pulls Milldawg up and whips him into the ropes. Milldawg ducks under a clothesline and then smashes Freebird with a chair shot. Freebird falls to the mat. Milldawg hops up and drops a big body splash onto Freebird. Milldawg takes the chair and whacks Freebird onto his chest with it. Milldawg climbs to the top turnbuckle and lifts his arms toward the crowd. Then he flies off with the Menacing Milldawg. At the last second Freebird gets up and grabs Milldawg in mid-air. Freebird grabs Milldawg's skull and applies the IRON CLAW!!! Freebird keeps it attached and slams Milldawg down to the mat. Milldawg begins to tap out.
Larry Zbyszko: Well it looks as if Freebird Michael Hayes has gotten his revenge against the Mad Milldawg.
Michael Cole: Of course, it's never been about the title. I asked him about it and he said that it was the most embarassing loss in his career next to Sting.
Larry Zbyszko: It seems that he has never liked Sting. Well, when they fight on Massacre, we'll see who likes who and who's better.
Michael Cole: Well at least we know who our champions will be then. We have to head down to the ring for our next matchup, so we'll see you post match. But first backstage, we have Johnny Terrible with D-Generation-X.
The scene fades into the DX lockerroom where all members are prepared to speak.
Johnny Terrible: Well, as I see, D-Generation-X has decided to expand a little bit tonight. Zeus, why turn your back on your own flesh and blood?
Zeus Fulton: JT, the way it is is like this. My cousin doesn't know when to shut his mouth. When he walked into my interview the other day, he was signing his ticket out of my involvement with the Anarchy. Plus, we don't mesh well together. He'll get over it.
Johnny Terrible: Well, guys, back to you.
David Penzer: This following matchup is a strap match for the Hardcore Title. First headed to the ring as the challenger, standing at 6'3" and weighing 295 pounds, the master of Your Kashed, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, Kasino.
PE 2000 by Puff Daddy shoots out over the IWA SoundScreen as Kasino appears from the back. The fans give him mixed reactions as he heads into the ring.
David Penzer: And his opponent, standing at 6'6" tall and weighing 247 pounds, representing the Anarchy, the master of the Recycler, from Denver, Colorado, the IWA Hardcore Champion, The Brewer.
Broken by Pennywise shoots out over the IWA SoundScreen as the IWA Hardcore Champion appears from the back. He holds his belt high in the air as the fans go crazy inside the arena.
The Brewer runs directly at Kasino and whacks him with the Hardcore Title. Then The Brewer pulls out his strap and begins to beat Kasino with it. The Brewer continually smacks Kasino with it until he bleeds. The Brewer pulls Kasino up and whips him into the ropes. The Brewer runs at Kasino but slips on a spot of blood on the ground. Kasino pulls out his strap out and then beat the Brewer with it. The Brewer rolls to his back and Kasino slaps it across his face. The Brewer bleeds from a gash across his forehead, by his eye, and from his nose and mouth. The Brewer is a bloody mess. Kasino pulls The Brewer up and whips him into the ropes. Kasino grabs The Brewer into Kash Money with the strap. The Brewer grabs Kasino and drops him with a jawbreaker. The Brewer pulls Kasino up and throws him into the corner. The Brewer slaps out the strap into Kasino's chest a couple times. Then The Brewer lifts up Kasino invertedly and drops him with the RECYCLER!!! The Brewer covers Kasino. 1...2...3. The Brewer wins.
Larry Zbyszko: Look at all that blood! That's all I can say!
Michael Cole: I have to question weather Kasino will be ready for the Online Title battle royal.
Larry Zbyszko: Well, The Brewer is still the Hardcore Champion. I guess Freebird Michael Hayes is going for him now.
Michael Cole: We've got to get to our next matchup, so let's go to David Penzer right now.
