    The Dominican Republic is a country of beautiful scenery, from tropical to temperate. The people are descendants of Africans, Europeans and Native Americans, mixed all together with the passing of the centuries, making the Dominicans a very special breed. The economy is based on service industries. The country welcomes two million tourists annually that arrive to enjoy the numerous beauties the country has to offer and the kindness of it's people.
